Why did Coach Candrea basically take all of the 2004 Olymppic players and not take many new players. ? THere ARE better players than some. IE N Whatley has a serious defensive problem, great offense but poor defense

Are you able to give suggestions on how many pitches a 13 year old girl should really throw daily and daily at tournaments? Thank you.

How about a favorite drill section.

Same question as # 2 above, but for a 9 year old? How many should she throw at practice sessions?

I think favorite tournament would be great especially with teams planning their 2009 schedule

I think a category on fast pitch pitchers would be good, like how many pitches they should throw in practice, how many innings they should pitch before having a significant amount of rest, and tips on keeping them focused.
Also, a category for drills, individual and team.

Like others, a drills section and a tournament section would be very helpful.

In addition to a drills section, how about a coaches tip section? I like the idea of a section to tell which tournaments were not well run, had poor facilities etc. It would be great to know this up front and avoid the really bad ones.

How about a way to delete or request to delete a bad link for images. I tried to add some pics to the images but the link I put in for each pic doesnt lead to the pic… it leads to the photo sharing website. DOH!

I would like to see a section to discuss the craziest or wildest play teams have had this season? Like the suggestions about coach and drill sections too.

It would be helpful if the drill section were divided up by sections like Pitcher, Catcher, Batting, Fielding, Throwing etc. It is easier to find them that way

How about stressing its only a game. I witnessed too many parents getting way to excited when things did not go there way. Maybe your organization could promote good sportsmanship and the idea that we play this game because its fun. I like to win as much as the next person, but some parents are way overboard. They think there kids are going pro. Most of them will quit before highschool with that kind of pressure. I speak from experience.

FUNDRAISING is always tough on teams & families.
I’m looking for fun fundraisers where the players and participants both come out winners!

Great fund raiser…. GOLD CAYNON CANDLES!! The sell like hot cakes and the profit is huge. We sell them for both my HS and CB teams and get a great return! Beats selling candy and cookie dough any day.
I don’t believe in car washes with girls sports….. way to many pervs out there these days

The Festival was a SUPER idea! I am a mom, not a coach or a player so this information was very, very useful. I really like Bob’s comments as suggestions for next year. Also, I would like to see a lot more about pitching – best drills, etc. Thank

Maybe do a section on favorite teams or players would be pretty cool. just to see who everyone likes
